1988 Mare, 14.3h "Abby" is one of the last producing daughters of the great mare UVM TREASURE, a World Champion Pleasure Driving horse and the dam of such legendary show horses and producers as Rapidan Cameo (dam of Fortold and Foreverafter), Kendalwood Fortune (dam of Arboria Satori, Arboria Top Gun, Arboria Victor's Pride, Arboria Cashmere), Kendalwood Hope (dam of Chandel Harmony and Atticus), Kendalwood N-Love (dam of Fletcher Banjo John, Roadshow Stormin Norman and Roadshow Texas Playboy), HVK Dark Treasure (dam of Crestfield Hearts Afire and Crestfield Wild Heart) and Arboria Chantelle (dam of Arboria Gold Coast), as well as the good sire Kendalwood CEO. One of our very best producers, she was one of the last mares bred to Forevermore and in 2002 she produced the lovely bay filly WINDEN HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Since Happy, Abby has produced three outstanding foals by our stallion, SHANGHAI. Abby's 2004 foal by Shanghai, WINDEN REIGN, was sold at weaning. Shortly after his purchase, he went to the Jubilee Regional and was the 2004 Jubilee Futurity Champion Weanling Colt and also won the Open Weanling Colt class. In February 2006, Reign was donated to the Kentucky Horse Park, where the staff reported that he was the star of the Morgans and making new friends among the park's 100,000+ annual visitors. We were excited that he was one of our Morgan ambassadors in this wonderful venue! He has now returned to our ownership, where his training has been furthered under the watchful eye of Alicia Fraser of Scottfield Stables. Abby was leased to Mirabella Farms, Buffalo, MN for the 2007-2008 season and produced a wonderful bay filly by High Q Qua-Lity. She is now open to breed to the stallion of your choice and is available for purchase. Please e-mail to discuss purchase options.

(Figure's Falcon x Camille Centaurus) 1987 Dark Chestnut Mare, 14.2h
"Ellie" is co-owned by Tami Johnson, Jeanne Gallagher and Jaye Alles, dba LIGHTEN UP After seeing Elvira at the Whitney Sale several years ago where she was purchased by Jeff & Lynn Yelton of Graycliff Farm, I could not forget her and would remind Lynn of how much I loved this mare whenever I saw her. I was honored that when Lynn decided to part with her, she thought of me first! Not one to be too selfish, I shared my good fortune with two buddies who are just as thrilled to have Ellie in our midst as I am. Extremely linebred to Mansfield and his full siblings, Canfield and Redfern, with additional lines to Bennington, Ellie is a very dominant producer and we did not let us down when she produced an outstanding bay colt (now gelded) by Winter Moon Enlightenment in 2005. This wonderful mare is a study in old government breeding. The horses on her third pedigree line almost all have four-digit registration numbers! The wonderful shoulder, great withers and short back are some of her most exciting points. She also has extremely short cannons and is very deep bodied. All in all, Ellie is a wonderful example of genuine Morgan type. Ellie just produced a GREY filly (chestnut based) by Winter Moon Enlightenment on May 30th! She has been bred to the sire of World Champions, IMMORTAL COMMAND (Waseeka's In Command x UVM Vision) to produce what Erin Briggs hopes will be a foundation-quality FILLY for her in 2009. We are very excited to see the outcome of this brilliant "Breed to the sire the best of his dam" philosophy! |

(San-Kay's All A-Glow x Catawissa) 1986 Chestnut Mare It has always been a dream of mine to incorporate Deerfield Challenger into my breeding program through one of the most naturally gifted moving horses I've ever seen, the great park horse San-Kay's All A-Glow (pictured below left), and his daughter Beam Glow definitely inherited his athletic ability (pictured below right).
My dream came true when the Symer Family of Legendary Morgans in Lebanon, Illinois offered me the opportunity to share this wonderful mare, who is one of the very last producing daughters of All A-Glow, out of a Beamine daughter. Her size, extraordinary talent and motor were used to compliment an outstanding young sire, CENTURY NIGHTMUSIC (Stonecroft Byzantine x Appleton Baroness). Winden Firethorn, Glow's 2007 colt, has a blaze face and two tall hind stockings, making him a sight not to be missed. Visit our Prospects page to see more. This flashy yearling gelding is available for purchase and is World and Jubilee Futurity nominated. Although Glowy is no longer breedable, we would like to find her a wonderful home where she can be enjoyed as a pleasure or beginner walk-trot or lesson horse. She is great on the trails, sound, sane and trained to perfection. if you're interested in adopting Glowy, please email us. |

(Issues 'N Answers x Nemour's Sunny Beam, by Beamington) 1999 Dark Chestnut Mare, 15.1h
"Bea" is perhaps Sunny Beam's best and certainly her last foal, and we are retaining her to replace her dam. A mare with lots of size, substance and athletic ability, she is also a family pet! Bea has a wonderful hindquarter and a big, four-cornered trot that we hope to see continue in our breeding program. Her first foal by Shanghai, a wonderful bay filly named WINDEN MAI TAI, arrived in March and made her winning debut at the 2006 Jubilee Regional in September. She was the winner of the Open Weanling Filly class early in the week, and capped off her first horse show with a Reserve Champion Jubilee Futurity Weanling Filly title. She was purchased shortly before the show by our good friends Jay Kleiber and Julie Ouska of Ridgewood Farm in Elizabeth, Colorado. Of course, one of my breeding mantras is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", and so Beadazzling is back in foal to Shanghai and produced a talented bay colt on March 31st, Winden Saigon (pictured below). If you have an interest in this colt, contact me. He is eligible for the World Morgan Futurity and the Jubilee Futurity. Beadazzling is being bred to World Champion STONECROFT TRILOGY in 2009.

(Century On Command x Prospect Candy Apple) 1988 Dark Chestnut Mare On lease from Don & Denise Wetmore of Ebony Moon Morgans, Papillion, NE With her Trophy and Superman top side and her Pecos and old Brunk bottom side, this darling mare produced a very gifted and typey individual, as we expected. Dolly foaled on April 7, 2008, over a week overdue, a lovely bay filly with a star, eligible for the World Morgan Futurity and the Jubilee Morgan Futurity. She has plenty of size (is already nearly as tall as her dam) and is a love. Paper Doll is currently available for purchase. She may be purchased in foal to Shanghai for a 2009 foal for $2,500, or as a 3-in-1 package with her 2008 bay filly for $7,500. Please e-mail if you have any interest in this very special mare.

(Issues 'N Answers x Kilkenny Tansy) 1996 Chestnut Mare One great idea deserves another, and when Red became available, I kept my eye on her. I had already owned and bred her dam, Kilkenny Tansy (Royal Fleetson x Hanover Super Love, by Chasley Superman) to Forevermore twice with great results. It was a natural progression to acquire this mare to breed to my Forevermore son, SHANGHAI. Red has already produced three wonderful foals, including the winning Ensbrook Alliance (by Ensbrook Avanti) and Ensbrook Irish Rose (by HRH Image Command), both champions in hand; and the outstanding prospect Akira Conspiracy Theory (by Arboria Top Gun), bred and owned by Leslie Arnould of Lebanon, Oregon, who facilitated my acquisition of Red. She will be bred in 2009 to Shanghai and I'm very excited about the future! |

(Fleetwing's Major x Flintalee, by B-L Flintson) 1986 Mare, 15.1h
Purchased as a coming yearling because I desperately wanted a daughter of Fleetwing's Major (Black River Major x Java's Pam's Pride) for a show horse, Ginger won the Yearling Filly class at the Jubilee Regional and some other good in hand ribbons before I decided the show ring would not be her forte. Her first foals by World Champion sire Forevermore (Beamington x Merwin Madonna, by Fairfield Fortune) were quite outstanding and so it was decided her place in life was to produce wonderful foals for Windenhill. Ginger is the dam of six full siblings by Forevermore that include Surrender, World Champion Another World, World Champion Noteworthy, Only Forever (now owned by Peeper Ranch) and Tell Me More. Then Up-Hyre Te-N-Te (Dee Cee Mr. Trophy x Saddleback Swingtime) arrived in the neighborhood and the two of them produced a really nifty colt, Another Story, and then a beautiful filly, The Gift. Ginger was left open in 1998, but produced a stunning filly in 2000 named Luminaria. Bred back to Forevermore, she once again outdid herself by producing a very special bay colt in 2001, our stallion Shanghai. Ginger experienced a rectal tear in 2003 during a routine ultrasound exam. After an extended stay at the University of Missouri, she was able to be bred live cover in 2004 and produced another outstanding filly by Up-Hyre Te-N-Te. Named FINERY, who has since been sold to Mr. Keith Middleton of Oak Ridge, Missouri. Keith is a long time Morgan owner and Finery is the first Morgan he's purchased in over 20 years, so we feel very privileged that he chose this outstanding daughter of our foundation mare.
We are thrilled to announce that Ginger has just been checked in foal to WC STONECROFT MASQUERADE (Cedar CreekHarlequin x Carillon Command), a full brother in blood to Cartier. The sire of World Champions Stonecroft Trilogy, Stonecroft Byzantine and many others, we expect this cross to be simply sensational and thank John Scheidt and Don Spear of Stonecroft Farm for making this possible. This 2009 foal may be available for purchase. Please contact us for more information. |

(Beamington x Trophy's Karat, by Trophy) 1976 Bay Mare April 29, 1976 - January 2, 2006 Sunny Beam was putting on a horse show this afternoon for her visitors, even snorting and blowing and causing one person to ask "Why aren't you breeding THAT one?" She was a little mare with big doe eyes and a beautiful chiseled head, and that typical Beamington tail that was flagged more often than it was down. She had signs of Cushings, but not much else. If she had any arthritis, she didn't show it. She just stopped playing after her horse show, wandered over to a common fence with a neighbor to have a chat and toppled right down. It was very quick and we hope very painless. I'm glad that when God decided to take her, he did it quickly and just after she'd left such a wonderful impression for all of us to remember her by. Thanks for the memories, Sunny, and for my wonderful Beadazzling. Sunny had nine foals in her lifetime. She was the dam of Grand National Champion Salem Spirit World, Salem Total Eclipse, and Hollybrook Sunkissed (the dam of World Champion sire Hollybrook Wham Bam), as well as the good producers Charlestown Fairdawn (by UVM Promise) and Charlestown Moonbeam (by Black River Jupitor). At her side in the photo above is her 1999 filly, BEADAZZLING, by Issues 'N Answers (Noble Flaire x B-L Superfection), who I kept to replace her dam. She also produced Islamorada (by HVK Noble Wind), who has excelled in the show ring as well as in Dressage and is owned by an adorable gentleman in Canton, Missouri who recently passed on at 95 years of age, having enjoyed his mare to the very end of his life. |
