(Issues 'N Answers x Nemour's Sunny Beam, by Beamington) 1999 Dark Chestnut Mare, 15.1h
"Bea" is Sunny Beam's her last foal, and she is in an elite group of wonderful producing mares out of Sunny that include Nemours Sunkissed (dam of Hollybrook Wham Bam), Charlestown Moon Beam (dam of SBS Putting On The Ritz), and Charlestown Fairdawn (dam of Festival Jazzman and Intrepid My Fair Lady). A mare with lots of size, substance and athletic ability, she is also a family pet! Bea has a wonderful hindquarter and a big, four-cornered trot that we hope she will continue to produce in our breeding program. Her first foal by Shanghai, a wonderful bay filly named WINDEN MAI TAI, arrived in March and made her winning debut at the 2006 Jubilee Regional in September. She was the winner of the Open Weanling Filly class early in the week, and capped off her first horse show with a Reserve Champion Jubilee Futurity Weanling Filly title. She was purchased shortly before the show by our good friends Jay Kleiber and Julie Ouska of Ridgewood Farm in Elizabeth, Colorado. Now owned by Brian Berry and Victoria Markley of Santa Cruz, NM, we hope to see her performance debut in the future. Of course, one of my breeding mantras is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", and so Beadazzling was bred back to Shanghai and produced a talented bay colt in 2008, Winden Saigon (pictured below). Congratulations to the Jones Family in New York on their purchase of this elegant youngster! Beadazzling produced a big, handsome chestnut colt by Shanghai on April 25, 2010. WINDEN TAIPAN is affordably priced at $3,500 and will be nominated to the World Futurity and the Citrus Cup Breeders Sweepstakes. |

(Issues 'N Answers x Kilkenny Tansy) 1996 Chestnut Mare | AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE One great idea deserves another, and when Red became available, I kept my eye on her. I had already owned and bred her dam, Kilkenny Tansy (Royal Fleetson x Hanover Super Love, by Chasley Superman) to Forevermore twice with great results. It was a natural progression to acquire this mare to breed to my Forevermore son, SHANGHAI. Red has already produced three wonderful foals, including the winning Ensbrook Alliance (by Ensbrook Avanti) and Ensbrook Irish Rose (by HRH Image Command), both champions in hand; and the outstanding prospect Akira Conspiracy Theory (by Arboria Top Gun), bred and owned by Leslie Arnould of Lebanon, Oregon, who facilitated my acquisition of Red. She produced her first foal by SHANGHAI on April 25th, WINDEN KAI, a beautiful bay filly with a star! Although I had hoped to keep Red as a permanent member of my broodmares, a pending move to Florida has forced me to reconsider the number of horses that move with us. Broke to ride and drive and has been shown limitedly with success in hand, harness and saddle as an English pleasure horse. At her young age, she could easily go back to work. She is very reasonably priced at $2,500 open, or $3,500 with a breeding included to Shanghai. Please e-mail me if you have interest in this wonderful mare. |

(Fleetwing's Major x Flintalee, by B-L Flintson) 1986 Mare, 15.1h
Purchased as a coming yearling because I desperately wanted a daughter of Fleetwing's Major (Black River Major x Java's Pam's Pride) for a show horse, Ginger won the Yearling Filly class at the Jubilee Regional and some other good in hand ribbons before I decided the show ring would not be her forte. Her first foals by World Champion sire Forevermore (Beamington x Merwin Madonna, by Fairfield Fortune) were quite outstanding and so it was decided her place in life was to produce wonderful foals for Windenhill. Ginger is the dam of six full siblings by Forevermore that include Surrender, World Champion Another World, World Champion Noteworthy, Only Forever (now owned by Peeper Ranch) and Tell Me More. Then Up-Hyre Te-N-Te (Dee Cee Mr. Trophy x Saddleback Swingtime) arrived in the neighborhood and the two of them produced a really nifty colt, Another Story, and then a beautiful filly, The Gift. Ginger was left open in 1998, but produced a stunning filly in 2000 named Luminaria, now owned by Hidden Dragon Morgans in Oklahoma. Bred back to Forevermore, she once again outdid herself by producing a very special bay colt in 2001, our stallion Shanghai. Ginger experienced a rectal tear in 2003 during a routine ultrasound exam. After an extended stay at the University of Missouri, she was able to be bred live cover in 2004 and produced another outstanding filly by Up-Hyre Te-N-Te. Named FINERY, who has since been sold to Mr. Keith Middleton of Oak Ridge, Missouri. Keith is a long time Morgan owner and Finery is the first Morgan he's purchased in over 20 years, so we feel very privileged that he chose this outstanding daughter of our foundation mare.
